House details
Be Comfortable!
There are four heating and cooling systems throughout the house.
The thermostat on the main floor controls the main floor and the basement. If you are too hot or too cold on the lower level feel free to close the vents.
The upper level is controlled by a separate unit. If it is cold or hot in the bedrooms, close the vents in the upper family room area and adjust the temperature to ensure the system runs.
Within the loft, there is a mini split that operates off of the remote.
Within the garage, there is a thermostat on the wall for heat.

Legends Steakhouse for a Mouth-Watering Supper
Tucked on the lower level of the Franklin Casino, a full menu of delicious foods and our favorite steaks. They are open in the evenings and reservations can be made on Open Table.
Time for a Burger
Lewie's is a famous Black Hills stop. Just a short drive away, take in an authentic Black Hills experience and enjoy a burger from Lewie's!

Cozy, charming and tasty ice cream shop is a must after a day of exploring!
Hike in Spearfish Canyon
There are a number of great hikes in the area ranging from mild to more aggressive. If your looking for one that is a good starter head to Rough Lock Falls. It's about 2 miles round trip or if you have some walkers and some nonwalkers, you can drop the walkers off then have the nonwalkers meet them up the road so all can enjoy the outdoors. It's free and it's beautiful!
Spearfish Fish Hatchery
A fun interactive experience for all ages - buy a little bag of fish food and join in the fun. NO CHARGE and kids love it!
Throw dice with the nicest dealers in town
Play some cards, roll the dice on the craps table or find a machine. Going back to the authentic roots of Deadwood, the dealers at the craps table in Tin Lizzy are the best (and most fun).
Deadwood Taxi and Shuttle Service
Let the whole group have fun but stay SAFE by using a taxi or shuttle service out of Deadwood. There are lots of services but we have had great luck with Deadwood cab.

We hope you have enjoyed your stay! Check out time is 10 am. To prepare for departure, please put all garbage in bags and take them to the outside garbage cans. Be sure to check the rooms for all of your belongings. If you can start a load of towels in the washing machines before you leave, that would really help our cleaning crew out. Please lock up as you leave. We will handle the rest.
